Singapore-headquartered digital commerce company Synagie has unveiled Geene 2.0, a software platform designed to bring multiple artificial-intelligence commerce functions into one enterprise system.
The platform was introduced in Singapore on July 22 and is scheduled to become commercially available in early August. Synagie developed it with 12 founding partners spanning data, AI, media, commerce and blockchain.
Five layers in one system
Geene 2.0 is built around five linked functions: analysing market and customer data, recommending commercial strategies, generating multilingual content, automating commerce operations and verifying products or business claims.
Synagie says the model is intended to address a common problem for companies adopting AI: useful tools for content, analytics and workflow automation often operate separately, making it difficult to connect insight with execution and accountability.
The founding partners include BytePlus, China Mobile International, DataCloud, DU-MAS, FLY Entertainment, International Brand Centre, Masverse, Mei Ah Entertainment, SingData, Synagie, Yiwise and Zeneva.
Workforce adoption is part of the launch
The launch also highlighted the role of workforce training. Singapore’s NTUC Deputy Secretary-General Desmond Tan said companies should begin with a business problem rather than adopt AI simply because it is fashionable.
“It is not AI instead of workers. It is AI that works for workers,” Tan said at the event, linking adoption to job redesign and skills development.
Synagie has joined NTUC’s Company Training Committee initiative, through which eligible companies can seek support for transformation projects tied to productivity and workforce outcomes.
A Malaysian durian brand supplied by founding partner DU-MAS is already being used as an example deployment, combining market analysis, content production, commerce automation and product traceability.
